05.15.09 Newest Sleep Centers Opens in Somerset As the region's leading independent sleep center expands to accommodate patients and physicians, LifeLine Center for Sleep Disorders is pleased to announce its newest facility in Somerset, Pennsylvania.
The new facility is located at the Inn at Georgian Place, a unique bed and breakfast in a transformed historic mansion. The comfortably appointed rooms give patients an option for sleep studies outside of traditional hospital and sleep center environments. Staffed with experienced sleep technicians and a Medical Director who’s board-certified in sleep medicine, the Somerset facility can accommodate multiple sleep studies per night.
“We are pleased to provide another choice for patients and physicians in the area,” said Becky Rohosky, General Manager, LifeLine Sleep Centers, “With the Inn at Georgian Place, we’re continuing our efforts to meet our goal of providing access to sleep studies to everyone in Western Pennsylvania who is in need. And if traditional sleep study settings have been a barrier for completing a study, a hotel setting helps patients overcome that.”
Based outside Pittsburgh in Forest Hills, LifeLine has been quietly expanding and now operates or manages 19 community sleep locations in the region, including seven in partnership with Excela Health System, three with private physician groups and the most recent addition of its pediatric facility at Allegheny General Hospital – Suburban Campus.
The LifeLine team is pioneering access to high-quality, timely sleep studies and treatment of sleep disorders in Western Pennsylvania, offering the region’s leading private sleep lab accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. In fact, no other organization in Western Pennsylvania is as widely accredited as the network of LifeLine centers.
